As a New Hampshire family photographer, one of my absolute favorite short-but-sweet sessions of the year is the apple blossom mini session; and trust me, these fleeting few days are pure magic. If you’ve ever dreamed of soft white florals and that golden May light, this one’s for you.
1. The Apple Blossoms Are Breathtaking
There’s something so timeless and romantic about the delicate white apple blossoms. They create the perfect natural backdrop—clean, soft, and neutral, which makes your family the true focus of the images. These blooms only last about three days , so the window is tiny, which honestly makes the photos feel even more special. It’s a once-a-year kind of beauty, and no two years are ever exactly the same.
2. It’s Easy & Convenient for Families
This location is just steps from the parking lot—no long walks through fields or trails required. Whether you’ve got toddlers in tow, a stroller, or grandparents joining, this spot is super family-friendly. We can be at the exact shoot location within 30 seconds of getting out of the car (yes, really).
3. It’s the Perfect Spring Activity
These mini sessions are great on their own, but they also make a fun little spring outing! The orchard has a restaurant for grabbing a bite afterward or a local farm stand on site. If you’re local to the seacoast of New Hampshire or North of Boston, it’s an easy drive—and totally worth it.
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to book your spring family photos, this is it.
Because these blooms don’t last, I only offer a handful of mini session spots each year, and they always go quickly.
