NH Newborn Photography Session

Eighteen months ago I took newborn photos for the G family. Earlier this year I returned for another in-home newborn photography session for their second baby. Taking newborn photos for both big and little brother was a unique and special opportunity to capture the growth and changes within the family. This session featured big brother who I had photographed as a newborn, and was now a toddler stepping into the role of a big brother. Although he was feeling a bit tired and wasn’t completely in the mood for a photo shoot, the comfortable and familiar setting of their home allowed us to capture a series of genuine, candid moments. One of the session’s special moments was recreating a photograph from 18 months prior, using the same outfit for the younger sibling that the older had worn in his newborn session. This act of mirroring their earlier life stage not only highlighted the growth of the first child but also symbolically connected the siblings in their shared family history. Little Brother January 2025 Big Brother August 2023 Even with a less-than-enthusiastic toddler, the session highlighted the beauty of in-home newborn photography—capturing the essence of family life and cherished memories in the most personal and intimate setting.

Getting your photos taken can be stressful - but they shouldn't be! My goal is for you to have a fun, laid-back session filled with smiles, laughter, and connection.

My own kids - 7 year old boy/girl twins - have given me a lot of experience in working with kids and toddlers. I've learned that the key is to go with the flow and make the session fun.
