Welcoming a new baby into the world is always special—but when you get to photograph them in a home full of personality, love, and really good lighting? That’s when the magic happens.
As a NH newborn photographer serving Southern New Hampshire and just north of Boston, I love when families invite me into their space to capture these early days. This recent in-home session was the perfect blend of heartfelt moments, natural beauty, and personal touches (including a very involved family cat and a Taylor Swift playlist on repeat!).
When I arrived at their gorgeously decorated home, I knew right away this session would be something special. Their space was filled with bold hues and thoughtful details—the kind of aesthetic that not only feels vibrant, but photographs beautifully . I spent time finding the best natural light in each room so we could highlight both the baby and the stunning decor in a way that felt effortless and organic.
My goal for every session is to create space for connection—rather than overly posing or forcing moments. We moved slowly, letting baby snuggle up, stretch, and snooze in cozy spots around the house. I gently guided mom into natural, loving interactions while paying attention to the unique light and lines of their home.
And of course… we had the perfect soundtrack. A curated Taylor Swift playlist played softly in the background, setting a relaxed vibe that made everyone feel at ease—including the family cat, who seemed determined to make a cameo in every other frame
